Diamond Jubilee Pageant The World Came to Windsor

A stunning, limited edition photographic record of the Diamond Jubilee Pageant, Diamond Jubilee Pageant, The World Came to Windsor, provides a lasting reminder of an incredible few days in May 2012.

Set against the historic backdrop of Windsor Castle, the Pageant marked the opening salvo for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth’s Diamond Jubilee celebrations, paying tribute to 60 years of Her Majesty’s reign. The four day spectacle was a showcase of equestrian skill, music and dance, bringing together 550 horses and more than 1,000 performers from locations as diverse as the Canadian Arctic and the Arabian Peninsula.

From Cossacks practicing their incredible sword-fighting routine, to artistic director Dougie Squires coordinating the acts backstage, Henry Dallal captures extraordinary feats of horsemanship and unforgettable dance displays, portraying insights into fascinating equine cultures from around the world.

Created for all those who supported, participated in or were involved in the organisation of The Diamond Jubilee Pageant, the book brings back many happy memories of the magnificent event.
